RECYCLING OF RESIDUAL METALS

The process begins with the provision of suitable collection containers and concludes – following analysis and processing – with a traceable settlement for recoverable metal fractions.

1. Provision of collection containers

We provide crematoria with suitable containers for the separate collection of residual metals. The containers are designed for safe handling, storage and transport.

2. Collection and transport

At agreed intervals, we replace filled containers and transport the collected materials to our recycling centres or to suitable further processing facilities.

3. Pre-treatment and sorting

The materials are inspected, separated from non-metallic or interfering components and sorted by material type.

4. Separation of valuable metals

Following sorting, metal fractions are processed. Depending on their material characteristics and the relevant processing route, precious-metal-containing fractions may be sent for further separation.

5. Analysis and quality control

Before further marketing or processing, we analyse the metal fractions. The results form the basis for a traceable assessment and settlement.

6. Transparent settlement for crematoria

Once the analysis is complete, our partner crematoria receive an overview of the identified metal fractions and the underlying settlement values. Hedging options may be included in the arrangement where agreed.

7. Return to material circulation

Suitable metal fractions are prepared for further processing and may subsequently re-enter industrial material cycles.

Our process for the professional disposal of filter dust

At CRONIMET CREMETAL, we organise the safe collection, packaging, transport and disposal of filter dust from crematoria in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

1. Treatment and disposal route

Filter dust is collected in suitable collection and transport packaging and transferred to an authorised disposal facility. Where applicable, it is deposited in suitable underground disposal facilities.

2. Documented processes

We document each step of the process, from providing the packaging materials and collection through to the planned disposal route.

3. Full service for crematoria

For the handling of filter dust, we provide suitable drums, liners and pallets. Our service includes provision, collection and coordination of the professional disposal process.
